The ERN Group is implementing MyWorkForce™, an internet based electronic recruitment trading platform. The system was transferred to the Group by MyWorkForce™, a company owned by the European Recruitment Network Group.

The system aims to provide an end-to-end transaction from the creation of a job request or vacancy, the matching of that request against the candidate database, confirmation of the placement/booking, time recording of the actual work done and processing to the back office for upload to payroll and invoicing.

Streamlining the process of making a staff placement is intended to deliver efficiencies, both in terms of the recruitment and placement but also in the administrative effort, therefore cost, to support that placement. Moreover, by virtue of the system being accessible via a web browser, with servers professionally hosted the roll-out as new acquisitions come on line and the business grows.

MyWorkForce™ improves the ERN Group's ability to participate in preferred supplier arrangements. Firstly, the software allows the ERN Group to partner with other supplier organisations on one system, so where a Group business cannot fill a particular placement it can make the vacancy visible to a partner to fulfil. Secondly, the Directors believe that hiring organisations will increasingly utilise on-line facilities to procure temporary and permanent personnel. MyWorkForce™ provides a solution to meet this requirement.
